Objectives: To check students’ understanding of the vocabulary in a fun way.
Age group: 8-10 years old.
Preparation: You will need 2 pieces of paper on which you will write 10 sentences. The sentences will contain words from the students’ vocabulary. In each of these sentences underline a word.
Instructions: Divide the students into two teams. Give each group a piece of paper. The students have 10’ to write down the meaning of the underlined words and find a synonym. When the time is up, the teams in turn shout out their answers. The team with the most correct answers wins!
Time: 10-20 minutes.
