Objectives: To learn or revise vocabulary in a fun way.
Age group: 6-10 years old.
Preparation: You will need a steady chair, a whiteboard, and a few markers.
Instructions: Divide the pupils into 2 teams. One member of the first team sits on the “magic” chair which is placed in front of the board. The pupil on the chair is not allowed to look at the board. The other team tells you secretly a word that you write on the board. The student’s team, who sits on the “magic” chair, tries to help its members guess the written word. If the pupil on the chair guesses right, then his team gets 2 points. The team which gathers the most points gets 2 stickers as a reward.
Time: 15-20 minutes.
Note: Try to encourage students to speak in English.
