Objectives: To revise the spelling of words.
Age group: 6-8 years old.
Preparation: You will need a whiteboard, markers, and two cards with Tia the turtle. On the first card write “Yes!” and on the second write “No!” Write on the board words that pupils already know.
Instructions: Divide the students into two teams. Give each team one “Yes!” and one “No!” card. Each team takes turns spelling the words on the board. Whenever a team spells the words correctly, the other team raises the “Yes!” card. Whenever a team does not spell the words correctly, the other team raises the “No!” card. The team with the most correct spelling words wins!
Time: 15-20 minutes.
