Objectives: To revise the irregular verbs in a fun way.
Age group: 8-10 years old.
Preparation: You will need a whiteboard, markers, and cards containing the infinitives of some irregular verbs and hiding them in different places in the classroom.
Instructions: Divide the students in two teams. Write on the board the past tense and the past participle of some of the irregular verbs. Each team takes turns in order to find as many cards as possible. The teams have 10’ at their disposal. Every time a team approaches a card, you have to say: “Pepper!” When a team is far away from a card you have to say “Salt!” The team which finds the most cards and matches them correctly with the past tense and the past participle wins.
Time: 20-30 minutes.
