Let the story unfolds!

August 8, 2023 by Nafsika-Marina Smyrli

Objectives: To practice narrating a story while revising the vocabulary in a fun way.

Age group: 7-10 years old.

Preparation: You will need a small ball.

Instructions: Arrange the students in a circle. You have to stand in the middle of it and hold a small ball. Start the game by saying an utterance beginning with “Once upon a time there was a princess…” Then, give the ball to another student and tell him/ her to continue. The pupil has to continue the story by using a word from the sentence you have already said for example: “The princess had a cute dog”. Besides this, the student has to make use of the words which has already learned.
