Objectives: To learn or revise vocabulary in a fun way.
Age group: Preschoolers-7 years old.
Preparation: You will need words and pictures flashcards of the vocabulary you want to teach or you have already taught.
Instructions: Have the students sit in a circle. If you teach new words, holp up each flashcard one by one, elicit the word and ask pupils to repeat. Whisper a word or a sentence that includes the target word you want to revise or teach, into the nearest student’s ear and then have them repeat the same sentence or word to the person sitting next to them. Put five to ten flashcards face-up on the floor. The final student must stand up and hit the correct flashcard saying the sentence or word you originally said to win the point. The pupil with the most points wins!
Time: 15-20 minutes.
