Objectives: To revise the vocabulary in context in a fun way.
Age group: 6-10 years old.
Preparation: You will need to sketch 10 fish using cardboard. Write on each one a word. Then, place all the fish in a box. You will also need some pieces of paper with the meanings of the words you have written on the fish within sentences.
Instructions: Divide the students into groups each one will consist of 2 pupils. Give to the groups on a piece of paper, the meanings of the words in the box. Ask the students to stand up and tell them to “Go Fishing!” They have to find the words which match their meanings. For each correct answer, each group gets 2 points. The group with the most points wins.
Time: 10-20 minutes.
