Newspapers’ time!

August 8, 2023 by Nafsika-Marina Smyrli

Objectives: To revise the grammatical phenomena in a fun way.

Age group: 7-10 years old.

Preparation: You will need to bring the class articles from English or American newspapers.

Instructions: Divide the pupils into small groups; each one will consist of three students. Give each group an article. Tell them to read it carefully and note any grammatical phenomena they have already learned on a piece of paper. When all the groups finish, the students state the grammatical phenomena which they spotted. The group which finds the most grammatical phenomena wins.

Time: 10-20 minutes.
