Objectives: To practice word formation and revise spelling in a fun way.
Age group: 7-10 years old.
Preparation: You will need a box, in which you will place two or three sets of plastic alphabet letters.
Instructions: Divide the students into two teams. Each one of the teams has to pick 12 letters from the box. The students have 10’ at their disposal to form as many valid words (nouns, adverbs, adjectives, verbs, etc.) as they can, using the letters they chose. The team which creates the most words wins!
Time: 20-30 minutes.
